BERG SPORTS Champion FlatGround 330 Grey
- Size
- 11ft (330cm)
- Enclosure
- No net
If your garden is exposed, the height of the trampoline and whether it has a net are the two things that matter most.
A regular trampoline stands above the ground on legs. Wind can get underneath the mat as well as against the net, which is why above ground trampolines are the ones that move in a storm.
A FlatGround trampoline sits completely level with the lawn. Because it is at ground level, it catches far less wind than a trampoline on legs. There is no frame standing in the open and no gap underneath for a gust to get into.
That does not make any trampoline proof against every storm, and we would not claim it. It does remove the main reason trampolines get blown about.
A safety net stands above the lawn whatever the trampoline underneath it, so it still catches wind. In an exposed garden, that is worth weighing up when you choose.
See FlatGround without a safety net and FlatGround with a safety net.
An InGround trampoline is set into the lawn with a low raised edge. It also sits far lower than a trampoline on legs. The FlatGround vs InGround page sets out the difference between the two.
If your garden is on the coast, on a hill or open to the prevailing wind, say so when you get in touch. We deliver free across the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland, and we can recommend a model with the exposure in mind.
Nothing stands above the lawn. More sizes and shapes are on the round and rectangular pages.
